The Walk Port Richmond! workshop is a series of activities to promote community engagement and encourage healthy exercise in your neighborhood. The workshop will help you share what you know about your neighborhood and explore local landmarks and how to walk to them.

Participants will get to build models of their favorite neighborhood landmarks using hundreds of small, colorful objects. They will then present their models to others and talk about how they would walk to them from their home, school, or workplace. Is there a historic building you'd like others to know about? Or a beautiful walk you take regularly? Share your experience and suggest routes to take and street improvements you would like to see.

Some of the landmarks and walking routes will be selected to be marked with pedestrian wayfinding signs from the Walk Your City campaign. Come to the workshop and help Port Richmond walk!

El taller de ¡Camina Port Richmond! una serie de actividades para promover la participación de la comunidad y fomentar el ejercicio saludable en su barrio. El taller le ayudará a compartir lo que sabe acerca de su barrio y visitar monumentos locales y la forma de caminar con ellos.

Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de construir modelos de sus favoritas vecinales marcas con cientos de objetos pequeños, coloridos. Ellos presentarán sus modelos a otros y hablarán de cómo iban a caminar con ellos desde su casa, escuela o lugar de trabajo. ¿Hay un edificio histórico desea a otros a conocer? ¿O un caminata hermosa que te gusta hacer regularmente? Comparta tu experiencia y sugiera rutas caminatas y mejoras en las calles que te gustaría ver.

Algunos de los puntos de interés y rutas a pie serán seleccionados para ser utilizado para letreros peatonales para la campaña "Walk Your City.""Walk You City." ¡Ven al taller y ayudar Port Richmond a caminar!
